As Discussed at Lunch

Fantastic news this morning! Battlestar Galactica is coming to the silver screen! After several years on Sci-Fi SyFy, I can’t wait to see the crew of the fleet in theaters!

Alas, this is where the good news stops! Probably motivated by the recent success created around resetting the classic Star Trek franchise, this version of Galactica will be produced by Glen A. Larson for the sole pleasure of Mr. P (didn’t Glen produce Knight Rider?) and will be based on the old 1970′s version of the show! No offense, but yuk!

Checking his IMDB page gave me even more bad news… Not only the dude crippled our youth with terrible shows (I have to admit I watched each and everyone of them) such as Galactica, Knight Rider, Magnum P.I., The Fall Guy, The Highway Man, Manimal, Simon & Simon and Buck Rogers, but he seems to be working on adaptions for several of his hits such as:

1. Knight Rider (details only on IMDbPro)

3. Battlestar Galactica (details only on IMDbPro)

I think I’m going to be a little bit sick in my mouth now…

Three things come to mind:

1. Hoff would’ve really benefitted from a seatbelt
2. Who puts a “Vocal Analyzer” button directly underneath the “Turbo Boost” button?
3. 10 minutes

I recommend muting prior to playback.
