Continuing on the theme of Star Trek related news, but real news this time, Star Trek The Experience will reopen in 2010 at the Neonopolis (eh?). It will open in phases.

As of NAB2009, the Star Trek signage was still in place on the outside of the LV Hilton as you enter from the monorail station.
Quark’s is all boarded up, though.
I have mixed feelings about this. Obviously it’s great that the Warp Core Breach will live on. I just don’t like it being downtown. It’s very easy to get a bunch of people to walk over to the Hilton after NAB at 3:00; if they have to take a cab downtown, it’s an added obstacle.
We’ll have to leave the NAB floor at 2:30 to make up for the travel time.
Shouldn’t be a problem for you Pajaro.
